  1. How to remove delay screen from Format Master 5.10:

  3. Using Disk Edit (Norton or PC Tools), search the file FM.EXE for the
  4. following HEX data:
  5.  
  6. (1) Search for:         C7 46 F5 07 00
  7.     Change to:          C7 46 F5 01 00
  8.  
  9. (2) Search for:         83 7E F5 00 75 B0
  10.     Change to:          83 7E F5 00 90 90
  11.  
  12. (3) Search for:         74 0A 9A 1A 03 E8 1E
  13.     Change to:          EB 0A 90 90 90 90 90
  14.  
  15. (4) Search for:         9A 00 00 B1 06
  16.     Change to:          EB 03 90 90 90
  17.  
  18. Save these changes.
  19.  
  20. The file FM.EXE has now been purged of the annoying 7-second delay
  21. screen which comes up whenever the program is started.
